The Site:  14-18 Holmes Drive & 3-9 Cecil Beatt Place, West Harbour

The Project overview: The demolition of the existing buildings on site and the construction of 22 x 2 storey residential dwellings, and associated subdivision, earthworks, access and works within the rootzone of street trees.

The Goal: To achieve resource consent submission with Auckland Council on time

The Outcome:  Consent was approved

The Challenges: Coordinating a large project team to achieve resource consent submission with Auckland Council on time, and guiding the application through the consenting process.  Issues included street trees, engineering matters, landscaping, traffic and parking  issues, addressing issues with neighbouring properties.

The Value that Thomas Consultants team added: Thomas Consultants Ltd managed to get the application approved urgently to meet Kainga Ora timeframes for the work to commence on site.  Our team also worked to get a large number of specialist information to be consistent and presented to Council for approval.
