We contacted Thomas Consultants to help get a resource consent to build a new dwelling on our rural, bush clad property in Waiatarua.

We soon learned that our property was going to be challenging to develop, due to the native bush, geotechnical limitations, and Council’s firm views about vegetation clearance in the Ranges.

However, we were extremely fortunate to be assisted by Thomas Consultants, who were able to persuade Council that our resource consent application should be granted. I had the pleasure of working Alex from Thomas Consultants Ltd for their exceptional planning service of the garage renovation at Remuera . From the very first interaction to the resource consent approval, their team displayed professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment.

Our production company engaged Thomas Consultants to prepare, submit and oversee our Resource Consents for location filming sites including land use for large scale earthworks, filming activity, bridge building and railway crossings.

We utilised an extensive range of specialist disciplines (planning, engineering, surveying) within Thomas which made for a seamless process and minimised the need for involvement from additional consultancies.
